    Finish Line® HALO® Wax lubricant delivers unparalleled drivetrain performance by reducing friction and wear with long-lasting, dry-to-the-touch protection on dry and dirty rides. Engineered to be world-class and tested on the ride by pros, it provides a durable coating on your chain to keep your drivetrain cleaner, faster, and more efficient.

    Each bottle of HALO® Wax comes with a Smart Luber™. This advanced, patented applicator delivers precise lubrication, ensuring every chain link is covered without the mess and waste of traditional methods.

    HALO is unlike anything you’ve lubed your chain with before. Three elite-grade ingredients set it apart. Highly refined paraffin provides a dry-to-the-touch finish which keeps grit off your chain—and won’t fling off onto your bike. Spherical tungsten is our proprietary hollow core technology that reduces vibrational friction caused by high-torque pedaling. That’s backed by ceramic boron nitride platelets which further coat the chain with non-stick properties. Meaning, you’ll have a cleaner, faster rolling chain, and significantly less friction.

    HALO® products are not classified as hazardous according to U.S. CPSC, U.S. OSHA, or EU CLP regulations. They contain no ingredients expected to persist or bio-accumulate in the environment. They are not formulated with fluorinated or PFAS chemicals. They are inherently biodegradable (>20%, <60% in 28 days). 

    Non-flammable: not restricted for air transportation.

    Instructions

    1. Ensure the chain is completely clean, dry, and free of all previous lubricants before applying Finish Line® HALO™ Wax.
    2. Shake thoroughly and turn the Smart Luber™ dial counterclockwise to the OPEN position.
    3. Position the Smart Luber™ over the upper section of the chain and gently squeeze the bottle to prime the wicking pads.
    4. Rotate the cranks backward for approximately 10 revolutions to evenly coat the chain. Repeat on the lower section of the chain if desired, then return the dial to the CLOSED position.
    5. Allow the lubricant to fully penetrate the chain. Peak performance may require two applications.
    6. Allow HALO™ Wax to dry completely (6–10 hours) before riding.

    Important Information

    • Do not wipe excess lubricant from the chain after application.
    • Smart Luber™ wicking pads will accumulate wax over time. Remove and rinse them after use to prevent clogging.
    • Replacement Smart Luber™ pads are stored inside the cap and are also available through Finish Line® dealers.

    Smart Luber™ Instructions

    • Flow Control Dial — The integrated OPEN/CLOSED dial starts and stops lubricant flow, helping prevent leaks and mess.
    • Multi-Surface Application — Three specially designed wicking pads apply lubricant to multiple sides of the chain in a single pass.
    • Less Waste — The controlled applicator minimizes spills and helps direct lubricant where it's needed.
    • Serviceable Design — Wicking pads can be removed for cleaning or replaced when worn.
    • Protective Overcap — Keeps the applicator clean during storage and transport.
    • Traditional Application Option — The Smart Luber™ can be unscrewed to expose a precision applicator tip for conventional lubrication.
